This is a normal post Yeah I'll save pictures of me naked in the cloud. What could possibly go wrong?

This is a normal post Yeah. It's definitely their fault.
Nothing at all to do with the people who hacked it and posted them on 4chan. They're the real victims here.

This is a normal post Knowing 4Chan
This could be a massive bluff - of faked and or otherwise 'leaked' pictures.

This is a normal post They're genuine
According to Jennifer Lawrence's publicist.

Not sensible saving to the cloud, but I do feel sorry for them.

This is a normal post Surely, saving them to the cloud
is no different to having them on your hard drive then connecting to the internet. If anything, I would have thought the cloud is safer than your average persons laptop.

This is a normal post except if your credentials get hacked
your data can be accessed from anywhere. The most secure would be no on-line copies at all unless encrypted and the key resides with you, or in your head, with 2 factor and all that jazz.

This is a normal post They're a mixture of real and fake - only a few fake though.
Maybe people will start encrypting everything by default soon.

This is a normal post erm. they just take them on their phones
(which is arguably stupid too). the silly apple stuff then syncs to cloud practically by default so everything is conveniently accessible on your laptop. people don't think about the security implications which doesn't make them entirely silly, because it's a phone. a camera. a thing they hold in their hand.

I await to see if this was a result of some generic hole in icloud's security or some very committed password guessing...
