Give a good indication of the massive scale of undiagnosed mentalness that's going on out there. Ronnie fucking Pickering needs some anger management.

"I think I have been delayed by as much as three seconds. This makes me unaccountably angry - angry enough to spend several minutes challenging you to a fight."
Oh, Ronnie Pickering, you silly sausage. Still: we all know who you are now.

angry short bald man swerving between traffic suddenly drives up behind me and proceeds to follow me for a mile or so, (mostly round a carpark). He didn't say a word, just made an angry face and then drove off squealing his tyres and leaving the carpark.
I think most of his anger was realising he'd got the wrong person :D

Happens a lot when out running on country lanes. Would rather run me off the road rather than waiting a few seconds for an oncoming car to pass so they can then go around me.

was bombing around the lanes, noticed some cyclists, realised there was a bend coming up, so sat behind them while we all made it round the bed (uphill as well... i genuinely felt for the cyclists...they where tired!)
some knob jockey comes raring up behind me, flashes me... i lean out and point at the cyclists, and the moron over takes with tire squeal.... blasts off round the corner...
squeal of brakes, and when me and the cyclists make it up the hill bend the guy has very nearly hit a van driver, who is now giving him a verbal bollocking... he even says to the guy "move out the way so these people can get past"
"it's fine..." we all wave... the cyclists took a break and i sat watching the onslaught....
marvellous.

Drove past a stationary queue approaching a roundabout and then shoved in at the front, pushing everyone else back, then later decides he's now wide enough to block a whole lane when turning right.
Either you can use your bike to get out of the way, or you can wait your turn like everyone else on the road like the law requires.

Certainly, the guy on the bike was a little bit annoying and selfish. But this is just what happens out on the roads... part of being a good driver is to make some allowance for other people not quite obeying the rules and doing annoying things, without going totally mental about it.
So, the guy on the bike "started" it by being slightly annoying.
However, the way in which the delightful Mr. Pickering escalated the situation was completely out of proportion, and he made himself look like a total fool. He wasted more of his own time, committed a number of crimes on camera, embarrassed the fuck out of his poor wife, and got his silly angry red face plastered over every major media outlet in the country.
So way to go Ronnie!

the fact is the mentalist in the car is clearly a mentalist... minimally provoked or not, that's not how you respond to someone cutting in line...
also motorbikes are welcome to cut in line infront of cars... they pull away faster and never cause an issue.
motorbikes are also allowed to cross hatch lines when over-taking...
so, your wrong really.
EDIT:
The courts have stated that a motorcyclist is entitled to overtake a queue and is not expected to wait. However, the cyclist must do so slowly and at a speed where they can stop if a car does suddenly emerge

People do stupid things and make mistakes occasionally. Dealing with unexpected and mildly inconvenient things happening comes with the territory of operating a vehicle. Deal with it.
Flipping out is not dealing with it.

Filtering up the queue is fine, but then cutting back in right at the front and obstructing the next guy from pulling out is taking the piss.
That he then held the same guy up again and he turned out to be a nutter is clearly more bad luck than bad driving though.

they put these fucking green bits at traffic lights for bicycles to congregate. It means you have to, slowly, progress through traffic (as DefyingDarwin points out you should do). The problem is, if you don't read the lights or you are unfamiliar with them, you end up in between two lanes of moving traffic, which is a cunt of a situation.
I propose, get rid of these green boxes, make cyclists push the bike on the pavement if they want to go forward..

Apart from its usual shite explain-a-video-to-pad-out-a-news-article... it actually hilariously goes "behind the story" about Pickering. Fucking brilliant. Sums it all up. By far my favourite clip of the day.
