This is a normal post Balls. The Guardian has a history of managing to make
Readers feel guilty about absolutely everything. Even about being charitable. This is the best of the genre: taking the biggest outpouring of mass-philanthropy the world has ever seen, and spitting unadulterated venom at it: https://www.theguardian.com/world/2014/nov/11/band-aid-30-patronising-bob-geldof-ebola-do-they-know-its-christmas

This is a normal post Did you read the article?
It is no way whatsoever critical of 'readers' or people who donate. It is critical of the modus operandi of the fundraisers.

I didn't bother to read your link since, despite the fact you did bother to find it and copy and paste it, you didn't bother to remove the fucking S after http in order to make it a clickable link. This makes you worse than Hitler. I bid you good day.

This is a normal post I did like his idea that celebrities should be replaced with Africans
Really give Comic Relief viewing figures a boost, that would. I'd be worried it might put a strain on the National Grid.

This is a normal post Love the slagging off of chugging
...followed by begging for donations to keep the paper afloat at the bottom!

This is a normal post That Rusbridger's legacy.
When he was told the endowment left to the Grauniad would keep it going in perpetuity, he took it very literally and did his utmost to spunk it all away. Sooner or later they'll get real and erect some kind of paywall, my guess is later.
