Guy drinks half a bottle of absinthe and a six-pack before giving a history lesson. Very interesting.

This is a normal post There's more!
I've watch a few now. I've learned some history. And I've snotted all over my laptop more than once. These are fucking hilarious.

Most of all, I'm really pleased that history has been made entertaining and interesting for me, a feat my school teachers never accomplished.

'Twould clearly be a blatant rip off of the format, but I'm wondering about the mileage in a series of Drunk Physics, Drunk English Grammar, Drunk Bible Studies... the possibilities are endless. :o)

This is a normal post We need this in the US - NOW!
So many channels recycling the same dull narrations with cutaways to some 5th rate random "expert"-- Narrator: "This is where the battle turned." Cut to Expert, sitting at "interesting" angle: "This is where the battle turned."
Every history show should be like this for at least a year--that would separate some wheat from the chaff. I envision contests, to see who can be the drunkest and still deliver the story. Brilliant idea!

This is a normal post This is something like
how I imagined sound recording for Wonders Of The Solar System went.

Not dismissing the show, it's great. I just think Prof. Cox had a little more than coffee and doughnuts when doing voice overs.

This made me giggle:

Apparently the good Prof Cox has seen it and heartily approved.

This is a normal post I guess if you have the knowledge,
it does not exit you when inebriated. It's true, my drunk facebook posts use words I didn't even think I KNEW. I wish I knew as much of history as this guy(I'm more of a maths, science lady), his drunk telling makes it easy to listen to for those that would be bored by the minute details of it. A+, I say. Even during the puke part, though it was difficult to view.
