Facebook is killing itself

I made this!
Thoughts - does every website, corporation, institution or even pan-global empire eventually collapse under the weight of its own arrogance?
I made a rap song full of easter eggs. The video was made with the help of fellow B3tan null aka houseofmullet.com
I'm trying to get this into the charts. Fuck knows if it will but here you go: itsdanbull.com/single

Top stuff as usual.
One theory I read recently which may lead to the bubble bursting is simply that kids do not want to socialise in the same place as their parents, and so people of a certain age are now simply stopping using it. (edit: I see Mudface has beaten me to that point!)
I'd have also thought that advertising on Facebook only really works for advertising entertainment. I mean, I'm getting adverts for credit cards and insurance at the moment, and I can't believe anyone is going to log onto facebook for fun and procrastination only to decide to sort out their insurance. As such, when people realise that social media marketing doesn't work for most companies (no matter what "social media experts" say), the revenue Facebook gets is going to shrink considerably.

I think facebook is already on the way out though. Everyone I know appears to be using it much less. Maybe that's an age related thing though...

Cool, nice video too
I don't use facebook myself, mainly because I hate people, but it would be interesting to see if everyone finally gets over the novelty of telling the world they exist.

Nice. And prophetic...
I work in the ad industry. Brands are obsessed with accumulating 'likes,' whilst not realising it doesn't represent any return on investment. Eventually it'll buckle when individuals leave in droves due to being inundated with insipid bullshit from brands, and then the brands leave because they realise it's all a massive waste of time and money.

I agree
"The shitness of other people's daily business". How true! I removed around 60 'friends' because facebook didn't have the functionality to remove from news feed at the time. And do I miss these 'friends'? Friends my arse.
Plus, I hate it when I go to a party, get chatting to a few people and the next morning I get a new 'batch' of friend request notifications. Get off my web page mutha f*cka!

I don't get it
What's the message he's trying to get across? Facebook is crap? 600 million people are wrong? His other work has been better - the Lily Allen vid/song was fantastic. This left me feeling 'Meh'
