one question, why did you add sugar to the molten chocolate? is it to keep true to the original recipe or just because chocolate's enhance with extra sugar?!

good question
for some reason a toffee crisp isn't just like a giant rice crispie cake, the chocolatey bit with the crispies is kind of crumbly. so i added icing sugar and cocoa to try and make it more crumbly. it worked quite well - tasted very like a toffee crisp!
it took the recipient three weeks to eat it... :D
