Obamarama - Zoomable image map of the inauguration
A photographer compiled over 220 high-res photos into an amazing panoramic view of the inauguration. Once it’s loaded you can zoom in EXTREMELY close, like Google maps, only more Obamastic.
You can zoom in close enough to see the band's sheet music as well as the sour look on Bushy's face. Also, check out the double officer at the base of the camera scaffolding in the middle.
/edit: Snipers! Totally found two groups of them.

Try up at the top of the dome.
They're the black dots you wouldn't even notice if you weren't looking.

And I think,
if you start at the TV tower in the crowd and go pretty much straight upwards to the right-hand end of that building, there's four guys that look like they might be in camo gear. Not sure though.
Gah, my evening's going to turn into a game of spot the sniper at this rate.
Edit: I see intesvenek agrees.

I don't think they are snipers
they are just standing about.
Same for the guys on the top of the building in the distance. One of them is wearing a yellow armband and is just sat their.
I say photographers.

the two I found
1. there is a huge white building in the middle of the background. If you look at the right most corner, there are 4 guys on the roof.
2. at the very right of the whole image is the Washington Monument (the big obelisk) if you pan to the left a little, there is a brick building with an American flag and what looks like a flag with a lime on it. There are 2 shadowy figures standing there.

With this kind of intel
we could do some serious damage...
provided we invent a time machine as well...
and nobody notices us...
then again, I guess at this point there's no point in taking out Bush

I noticed
1. A semi airbrushed out man - Follow the fence from the central tv tower (the one with the semi built tent behind it)
i27.photobucket.com/albums/c165/dangames/man.jpg
2. A tramp, eating a pasty, just sitting behind Aretha Franklin.
i27.photobucket.com/albums/c165/dangames/tramp.jpg
Aso, notice the amount of people that appear to be asleep.

The musician in front of the bassonists
has scribbled out the first two lines of his music. I wonder if someone slipped in the Simpsons theme as a joke, and he noticed just in time.
