It looks slightly less fake slowed down to half speed, also how does the upside down bit work? does the blade pitch adjust accordingly to create downdraft when it's upside down?

What I find hard to get my head round is the way they seem to hang vertically for longer than you'd expect gravity to allow.

There was a bloke practising this near where I work this summer
totally mesmerising, although at times it was hard to tell the difference between totally in control and total spastic.
The best bit was when he got it wrong and a million pieces of expensive radio controlled confetti went everywhere, though.

That reminds me of a drone video someone posted here.
I particularly remember the part where he floored it (figuratively speaking) and the thing shot off into the sky while making a sound like ten livid hornets' nests.
