Sweet, beautiful painkillers, Is there anything you cant do? Thanks to you the violent, yet dull thudding and drilling currently taking place under one of my molars, is at merely 80% of full capacity and therefore I can now see again without the motion blur filter.

Its been 6 days, and I nicked the co-codamol out of my girlfriends medicine cabinet where she stashed it following a rather nasty operation earlier in the year.

Constipation
Blocks me up badly; I like the numbing floaty effect, but the toilet straining just isn't worth it.

Wonder if the French bloke in the stall next to mine, a few days ago, was taking them. He spent much of the time shouting "Merde! Sacrebleu!" and hitting the walls with (presumably) his fist...

I fucking love that stuff.

One step better is Tramadol. Such a clean warm and fuzzy high. They had me on a metric tonne of that stuff when they were trying to work out what was happening to my kidneys to put me in such extreme agony. Just used up the last of it a few months ago :(

Back before they were prescription only, my Mum would always go out and buy a party pack box of co-codamol for her "head aches".

She seemed to have a headache every single day from then on.

Codeine
Gets rid of headaches on the few occasions when I have them, but I just don't get the floaty cotton-woolness that others describe. Ah well, at least I won't get addicted!
