It's not a project yet...
...more a general idea for a project, but I'd like to start a company that I've been playing around with for a while. I think there's a gap in the diet food market for something aimed at helping recovering anorexics. It's a sensitive area, and that's why I think it's not really been focussed on yet, which is a shame, as these people need help. I think as long as it's tastefully done, it could be a winner both for me financially and for the people it's aimed at.

I've already got a brand name and tagline actually. I think 'Skinny Fields' sounds healthy and reputable for the brand, and the tagline 'Nothing tastes as good as...'

I don't get it
I'm sure it's a piss take, but it's gone straight over my head.

Aw, man, that's a shame.
It's the best joke ever too, bad luck.

Well that's buggered up my chances of convincing him that it was the best joke ever.

"1.1 million eating disorders in the uk alone"
I thought there was just the starving one, the puking one and the sad fatty comfort eating one.

I mean, how many ways can you fuck up eating?

perhaps there's a separate disorder associated with every sort of cheese

Isn't that what Special K is?
It's marketed as good for your figure, but contains more calories per serving than coco pops.

And you can get chocolate Special K now as well.

I get it,
but I don't.

This is shit.

It's an interesting polemic.
Speaking from personal experience I was borderline anorexic for a while when I was a teenager (ran about 10 km a day, ate just about enough to lie around on the couch comfortably, was regularly woken up at 05:00 purely by hunger pangs but still refused to eat), and I have never felt shittier than when I was thin. OK, so you feel preternaturally alert and (for the first few days at least) you think with exceptional clarity, but in the long run you have no energy to do anything, you're permanently depressed and you fall asleep in the middle of things all the time. As a lifestyle, it's pretty bollocks.

Polemic?
It was just a shit joke.

Polemic
From the Middle Teutonic "pol" (theatre, public performance) + "elmich" (pertaining to the town square lavatories).

I have Apathetic Anorexia:
I'll look in a mirror, think "I'm fat" and then not bother with the starving myself part. Works surprisingly well.

My bulimia works in much the same way.
I gorge myself till I'm bloated then don't have the energy to get up, go to the loo & stick my fingers down my throat.
I call it "Binge-no-purge"

I'd high-five you,
if only our bloated arms could lift our sausage-fingered hands off the keyboard.

Doesn't Apathetic Anorexia post /OT a lot?
