I'm sure you get pestered for this all the time.
Why can't QoTW posts have normal replies, like /talk and /board?

It would give the QoTW people the community they deserve.

edit: This isn't to suggest that they don't have a community already - I for one, would use QoTW a lot more if it were more user friendly.

Because people are more interested in the main thread stories
Rather than people's replies.

It keeps everything flowing nicely, and the replies are still there should people want to view them.
