This is a question Caught!

MJPerry asks: Masturbating, stealing, making the cat dance... when did someone catch you doing something you wanted to remain secret?

The lovely Jessie was always pretending to spot something behind me...
...and using the distraction to steal some of my food/sweets/beer/whatever.

It was a standing joke between us, mainly because I always fell for it.

One Sunday we were in a Chinese restaurant, and she suddenly exclaimed "Ah, that's why those fish look weird, they're sucker fish!"

I craned my neck and looked at the fish tank. Unable to see any "sucker fish" and also hurting my neck from the angle, I swivelled round on my seat.

"I can't see any su..." my words died off as I turned back round just in time to see Jess giggling like a loon and dropping the scalding hot Szechuan king prawn she'd just stolen, not realising that it was going to burn her mouth.

We laughed lots at that... I realise it's lost something in the retelling.

Fuck I miss her...

Sorry to hear that mate
Just got back from a funeral. Fantastic bloke who loved riding round on an old beemer motorbike. Diagnosed with liver cancer (after months of being given antacids etc for his sore stomach), gone in 2 weeks.

Anyone who loses someone close to them
will agree that it's the small idiosyncrasies that you don't realise you miss until they are gone are the hardest things to deal with.

You will never lose those memories, and it is vital to keep them close. It won't stop hurting, sadly. But it will get easier.

Big hugs and a click though mister.

Words feel so meaningless when you have lost so much.
I hope that your pain heals and the happy memories stay with you forever.
Until then, hugs.
I hope that you are surrounded by those who love and care for you.

Funny story and a clicky for you.

I'll come and steal
the food from your plate if it helps at all.

You're drinking my beer!
Quoth my brother one time. I was driving home later and so was on lemonade but out of habit had absentmindedly picked up the beer in front of me. Well and truly caught on that one.

We lost him a little over 3 years ago but it's the moments like those that you never forget and which make you smile and ache at the same time.

You have the thoughts of many here.

(sigh)
I still have my father's screwdrivers.

Can't use them. Too many memories of being a wee kiddy and dad helping me take the back off something.

You get all the big strong manly hugs you want.
