Politically incorrect
As this is B3TA, I may well be in exactly the wrong place to ask this question but, here goes!

How far past good taste are Stephen Lynch and Kevin Bloody Wilson?

I ask because Pooflake and me have quite a few of the aforementioned artists' songs in our 'parental guidance' set. I have a feeling we may be going just a tad too far.

Any thoughts?

Kevin Bloody Wilson
is extremely funny.

However, I'm not sure I'd be entirely comfortable with listening to a band singing 'Oi, Santa Claus you cunt!' on stage in my local, unless they were billed as this kind of act in the first place, and the audience know what they should expect.

But you've got me chuckling now at the thought of Pooflake singing

'I wanna be a fucking builder when I grow up
And build fucking houses everywhere, millions of the cunts'.

I agree with k2k6's opinion. it's ok if they know what they are being let in for

playing it in a pub where people might not even have been expecting live music might not go down too well.

on a similar note, my band played a pub yesterday lunchtime. A Leslie Neilson lookalike was sat at the bar scowling at me throughout.

after we had finished up I went to the bar to collect a pint and the scowler turned to me and said "you guys played some really good stuff. thoroughly enjoyed it!"

a pleasant surprise!
