Good man
How is the new line of work suiting you?

EDIT - I'm being a bit vague here because I remember you got out of boozer management but I can't remember what for.

Yeah, the electrical company I joined appeared to be a good thing,
But they've just fobbed me off over the future training they promised that made it worthwhile for taking shit money, so I'm hanging on with them while I look at other things.

I hope you've told the GP to buy that pub!

I gave him honest advice.

No brainer.
If I was a GP I'd buy a pub too.

And some boats.

Get them to train you to the latest edition - are we on 17 now?
Then get out on your own.

Don't know what it's like down there but there's a shortage (haha pun etc.) of Ed 16 qualified sparks up here.

I've got 17,
But no real on site experience beyond the emergency lighting and fire alarm stuff for this outfit. So I'm looking at junior roles for the minute. There's a few bits around, just gotta rack up a couple of good covering letters and see what sticks

You've also got management experience
That's transferable, regardless of the industry.
(, Tue 8 Jul 2014, 20:20, Reply)
Yeah, I'm not too worried about finding something,
Just got to be organised enough to do a decent covering letter and that.
