That's getting a bit acrimonious with the Lazarus Edmund and stuff
Not been on for a while, as my local closed for good after 128 years solid service on June 21st so my drinking habits have had to change a bit.

What have I missed?

You're only on here when pissed or in the pub?
Seems legit.

More or less
If I had no work on the following morning I used to leave my car at the Thornhill, work on my laptop there whilst getting pissed, get the bus home then continue getting pissed.

At that point I'd get bored of working and go on b3ta.

Alright
I want to get a looper pedal. I've got a line 6 dl4, which has a looper function, but I want a dedicated pedal. Probably a vox lil looper.

I've just spent a LOT of money on a brass conversion kit for a U34CPH if that helps.

(, Tue 8 Jul 2014, 19:39, Reply)
It does, thank you

(, Tue 8 Jul 2014, 19:40, Reply)
Good. I'll be doing it in 1990 NJT scheme

(, Tue 8 Jul 2014, 19:42, Reply)
I think you should get a looper pedal

(, Tue 8 Jul 2014, 19:45, Reply)
we're all on Twitter now too.

(, Tue 8 Jul 2014, 19:37, Reply)
I think you can count me out of that.

Twitter's rubbish
It's just fat clowns and Stephen fry
(, Tue 8 Jul 2014, 19:41, Reply)
My main objection to Twitter right now
Is the fucking awful Mary Ann Hobbs calling it "Twi'er" on weekend mornings.
(, Tue 8 Jul 2014, 19:53, Reply)
You missed me being fabulous as always.

(, Tue 8 Jul 2014, 19:52, Reply)
Could you just do a quick lap of honour or something?
Waving a "fabulous" banner over your head?

I won't be able to see it but I'll know you've done it.
(, Tue 8 Jul 2014, 19:55, Reply)
Anything for you TD.
*skips in a circle*

Good man
How is the new line of work suiting you?

EDIT - I'm being a bit vague here because I remember you got out of boozer management but I can't remember what for.
(, Tue 8 Jul 2014, 19:59, Reply)
Yeah, the electrical company I joined appeared to be a good thing,
But they've just fobbed me off over the future training they promised that made it worthwhile for taking shit money, so I'm hanging on with them while I look at other things.
(, Tue 8 Jul 2014, 20:05, Reply)
I hope you've told the GP to buy that pub!

(, Tue 8 Jul 2014, 20:11, Reply)
I gave him honest advice.

(, Tue 8 Jul 2014, 20:14, Reply)
No brainer.
If I was a GP I'd buy a pub too.

And some boats.
(, Tue 8 Jul 2014, 20:15, Reply)
Get them to train you to the latest edition - are we on 17 now?
Then get out on your own.

Don't know what it's like down there but there's a shortage (haha pun etc.) of Ed 16 qualified sparks up here.
(, Tue 8 Jul 2014, 20:13, Reply)
I've got 17,
But no real on site experience beyond the emergency lighting and fire alarm stuff for this outfit. So I'm looking at junior roles for the minute. There's a few bits around, just gotta rack up a couple of good covering letters and see what sticks
(, Tue 8 Jul 2014, 20:16, Reply)
You've also got management experience
That's transferable, regardless of the industry.
(, Tue 8 Jul 2014, 20:20, Reply)
Yeah, I'm not too worried about finding something,
Just got to be organised enough to do a decent covering letter and that.
