And me.
It's my own stupid fucking fault for not coming in until about twenty to ten in fairness.

My hours are 9:30 to 6 every day.
It's basically slavery.

Suggest you block a port and burn some sheep.

So are mine.
Well, technically I'm supposed to be in at 9. But that seldom happens.

Work from home, then you can start and finish as you please.

i had fixed hours as a telephonist
and fuck me they felt loooooooooooooong. other than that it's always been a case of "here's your workload/target, you ain't going anywhere until it's done".
(, Fri 17 Oct 2014, 16:46, Reply)
That's pretty much my approach.
If I'm busy, I work late, if not, I leave early.

one of the big law firms has just brought in an unlimited annual leave policy
but you still have to hit your targets. i can't decide if this is a genius idea or madness.
(, Fri 17 Oct 2014, 16:49, Reply)
It's both.
People will take more leave, but spend more time checking mail and working from home so they'll never really have any down time.
(, Fri 17 Oct 2014, 16:51, Reply)
This is why I like to come in to work rather than work from home.
I like to set nice boundaries and leave my work at one side of them.

I also leave my laptop and phone (when I had one) on my desk at work though.

All that matters is what you do.
Presenteeism is for shopkeepers and call centre workers.
(, Fri 17 Oct 2014, 16:55, Reply)
By not being on strike all the time.
