What percent of women get custody again, out of how many blokes fight for it? What percent of women go against court rulings on access whenever their heals break?
If a fella wants to take on the kids, pay for everything, he'd still have to pay her meal ticket.
If a lass wants to take on the kids, pay for everything, she'd not pay a penny towards his living expenses.

#NotAllMen etc, I know.

How is Legal Aid for matromonial settlements split up again?

(, Thu 12 Mar 2015, 13:13, Reply)
I think they have stopped Legal Aid for divorce and custody hearings.

Ah', fair doos, don't get me wrong, the pay-gap is a real shitty thing, and all that gender inequality exists, is wrong, and is weighted against women....
.... but it just seems to me that in court that they see, IN GENERAL, women as little petals and blokes as aggressors.

it should be a lesson to every man who's gone for looks and not noticed if she had brains to get a job
srsly though, one of my ex's had a beautician (let's not pull on that thread) whom he claimed was really nice. but she didn't sound it to me. at about 26, she'd married some much older rich dude. a couple of months later it shockingly fell apart and she was going for the house and half his wallet. i had zero sympathy for either of them.

Game set 'n' Match
My cuz's devorce has
- Cost like £750k from both sides, him paying for both.
- Got her a £1.5m house; he rents and has no other major assets so rents now.
- She used the smash the house out in rages.
- He's a footie fan, the kids aren't even allowed to play footie at school.
- constant montz style last minute no-show
- At the time of the devorce, he was on good money, she got like 80% of it, but now he's not working due to contracts ending and stuff, he still has to pay the same amount.
- She begged and cried for him to not file for devorce before the kid's batmizah, to get that over'n'done with. She then served him papers at the table at the actual doo.
- Loads of other stuff.

if there is one thing i have learned from my job
it's that you should never ever underestimate the depths to which someone can stoop if you split up.

or how much money someone will waste over a boundary dispute.

(, Thu 12 Mar 2015, 13:47, Reply)
IT'S THE PRINCIPLE, I DON'T CARE HOW MUCH IT COSTS
bill is presented.

ALL I CARE ABOUT IS THE COST...

They are cunt.

it's usually a living nightmare working out who owns what and who is liable for what, if there is nothing express in the deeds

(, Thu 12 Mar 2015, 14:06, Reply)
one side we just agreed to go halves on it as the deeds had no markings, thinking the other neighbours would also be reasonable.

(, Thu 12 Mar 2015, 14:11, Reply)
urgh how annoying
with the line of the boundary or a feature, like a fence?
(, Thu 12 Mar 2015, 14:02, Reply)
both.
The fence was moved to get there fucking great shed in before we moved in, and are refusing point blank yo get involved in the fence being replaced after they failed to remove the ivy that grew on their side and destroyed the fence.
I'm happy for the boundary to have moved, it's all of 2 inches or so, but the cost of the fence is pissing me off. There's no T marks on plans, and no street wide consensus as to who owns which side. They're saying it's my fence on my land, so we've threatened criminal damage for the damage their ivy, swingseat and demon spawn grandson have caused.
I got an email today saying that if I was to not pursue the damages they'd consider chipping in to the cost of a new fence.

Uppity cunts.

(, Thu 12 Mar 2015, 14:18, Reply)
what twats
who bothers to spend money on a shed and then doesn't mind the fence looking like shit? twats, that's who.

is there anything historic as to who has paid for it in your deeds? i completely agree they shot themselves in the foot there; that was a rather daft admission.

without seeing the deeds or anything, i think my instinct would be to reply and say that you are glad they are being more reasonable, but as the fence was fine until they damaged it, they have to replace it with one of reasonable quality, or you'll get more legal on their asses.
