This is a question Sexism

Freddie Woo tells us: Despite being a well rounded modern man I think women are best off getting married and having a few kids else they'll be absolutely miserable come middle age.

What views do you have that are probably sexist that you believe are true?

Parking
Women can't park. They can be lovely, funny, caring, gorgeous human beings that I could never be without, but they just can't park a car.

Sorry ladies, but deep down you know this to be true.

P.S. What's with getting the arse when we leave the toilet seat up? You need it down, we need it up. When you want to use it, put it down. Or I can leave it down and piss all over the seat if you prefer.

Toilet Seats
i used to live in a house populated entirely by men.

Despite this, our housemate's girlfriend used to get into a huff if we left the lav seat up.

Strange girl

Toilet Seats
Yes, and when you ask them why they don't like it every women you ask gives you a different answer. I think they've just been conditioned by their mothers not to like it!

If you are thin
and the seat is up and you don't check before you sit down you will fall into the toilet. This is NOT fun.

THIS x 10000000
My god, the amount of times I've gone to pee while drunk and the seat's been up. It feels like you're about to fall off the edge of the world. Best feeling I can liken it to is when you suddenly wake up in bed after a falling dream.

As for the subject at hand, I don't care if a guy leaves it up, I'll put it back down. They leave it up, I leave it down, it's just another thing to be fought over in the war of the sexes... :)

I'm with the fanny on this one
Not only does the toilet have a seat, it also has a lid.

The toilet should be left with the lid down, the toilet looks more neat and tidy this way, and it does also work to prevent bog fragraces permeating into the bathroom.

Since the lid can't remain down with the seat up, the seat should be down.

Lids AND seats down please!
Helps prevent accidental dropping of things into the loo and is more hygenic.
Also, I have to raise and lower the lid if I wish to use the toilet. Raising and then lowering the seat at the same time isn't any more difficult. I'm not asking any extra effort of the men in my life!

I've lived with several male housemates
and I couldn't give a rats arse whether the loo seat is up or down or whether people squeeze the toothpast from the end or the middle. I feel I may be in the minority.
