This is a question Teenage Crushes - Part Two

Freddie Woo writes: I've still got weird feelings for a well-known female TV presenter from the 1980s. I'm now in my forties, work in the same building as her and she follows me on a number of social networking sites. And now, she knows about it.

Tell us about the teenage crushes that still make you go wobbly.

Does it count if...
...he's a computer character?

I "disremembered" earlier when I told you all I had only two crushes when I was a teen. The memories are coming back of the best game ever made in the entire world. It was on the n64, it was epic, it was The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time.

Yes, I had major love for Link. The Hero of Time. The wearer of white tights and short "dresses".

For those of you that haven't experienced the wonder of this game (shame on you), you start off as a little kid, doing all this saving the world crap. You can rest slightly easier as I didn't and don't have an attraction to little boys. However! At a certain point in the game, he gets himself sealed away for seven years, and emerges from his time cocoon as the sexiest fucking set of pixels ever.

I was a puddle on the floor right then and spent the rest of the game in a haze of happiness and bitching about the other females ingame that so obviously had the bone for him.

I had daydreams about him saving me, I drew pictures, I know all the Ocarina songs off by heart. I'd feel embarrassed telling you all about this but everyone knows already. The squeal as I first saw him in The Twilight Princess could only be heard by cats and aliens.

Yep, The Twilight Princess. For the Wii that only came out a couple of years ago. I still fancy his pixel ass now and if I ever saw someone in a convincing outfit I think I may be put away for Cosplay rape.

Ps: Windwaker and Majora's Mask are shit. He doesn't grow up in them. Don't bother. :)

Wind Waker was fucking ace.
I've finished the Zelda games on the DS, Wii, Gamecube and N64, but I don't fancy Link.

WRONG!
Majora's mask is one of the best games ever made. FACT!

*Squeeeeee*
That's my favourite song!

I've got the collector's edition for the gamecube with all of them on. I may have to retry Majora's Mask and Windwaker and battle through the cartoonish graphics and infuriating three day time limit.

On the plus side, it seems I'm not the only one on B3ta that has loved animation! :)

Ah, Link...
That funny bobbing motion he made even when he was standing still.

You're right though, it was pretty much every female in the game that went after him ... Zelda, Malon, Saria, that weird blue chick, a whole temple of badass fighting ladies and even those crazy boss twins at the end I think wanted him on some level.

I loved Zelda, have completed it way too many times... but still ever collected all the spiders or heart pieces!

*hums bolero of fire*

Link
Probably the only game character I would.

Ocarina of Time is on of my top five games of all time. The music as unbelievable. And I don't have the Forest Temple music on my phone...

Ha!
And I don't have the "chest is opening and you're going to get the boss key now" music on mine...

Hmm... think I would.
Top video game character for me is still Guybrush Threepwood though!
