This is a question Starting something you couldn't finish

Finnbar says: I used to know a guy who tattooed LOVE across his left knuckles, but didn't tattoo HATE on the other knuckles because he was right-handed and realised he couldn't finish. Ever run out of skills or inspiration halfway through a job?

In 9 years
I have started Tomb Raider 4 many times. I get at least half way through then either something else takes priority, or I get bored that day and never get around to going back on and continuing.
The most recent reason for not completing it was that the PS3 died and went back to Sony along with the saved game data.

I've got the disk out a couple of times, but never got around to inserting it as I then realise that I have to plough through all those early levels that I'm sick of doing.

:o)
In the three+ years I've had my PS3, I've only completed about five games. Pointlessly, stupidly difficult final levels just bore and frustrate me too much.

For example. from reading forums and whatnot, I know I've only gotta do two or three more missions to complete (the story mode at least)of Red Dead Redemption... But can I seriously be fucked to play the 'herd some fucking cattle with your son' and 'pick up some shopping for the Mrs' conclusionary levels? Can I piss! I've got Bioshock 2 waiting. Time to shoot some splicers in the face.

RDR looks very pretty (especially in HD) and I really want to like the Wild West genre. But I'm barely a quarter of the way through, and the gameplay is already getting a bit repetitive.

So I might give it up a bit sooner than you, because my untouched copy of Bioshock 2 is bound to be ace (they couldn't possibly fuck it up after such a fantastic original. Or could they?)
