and for the record, the posting referred to above, I'd been under the impression at the time that it was a week *after* aforementioned friend's sister's 16th birthday. Whereas in reality it was a week before.

Still, as memory serves I think we were in another European country at the time where the AOC is 15 rather than 16. So no laws broken.
