it's pronounced like the th- in thorn.

the d with a stroke through it is an eth. it's pronounced like the -th in with. (ie this one's voiced.)

Thank God I stopped before I started pointing out that "Ye Olde Shoppe" would be pronounced "The Old Shop" or, at a stretch, "The Olduh Shoppuh".
