Brighton is supposed to be very goodI was looking at applying there. And I know it's not the main reason you go to uni, but do see where you can see yourself living and how much there is to do/how inspiring the surrounding area is. Brighton has sea and nightlife and all those good (but distracting) things. Cambridge, while beautiful (and filled with awesome shops) can be a bit sleepy.
And be prepared to spend a bloody fortune on materials. The list I got was terrifyingly large.
