# Also...
...Comedy Lab is very experimental and appeals to very narrow and varying groups. People who've got stuff on aren't usually asked to do more of the same (though Joly was) - they might be commissioned to do something for someone else based on the fact that they've got something made.

BBC want broader stuff that'll appeal to more people. You're around 18-20?

# just turned 20
last sunday. but i think a lot of bbc comedy is shit. partridge, big train and something that i can't remember off the top of my head are the only good things on it.

# I agree...
...it is generally pretty shite. But they know what they want and aren't terribly flexible...don't know too much about how Comedy Lab stuff is commissioned, why don't you find out and try to target them?

# its all part of my "Apply Yourself You Lazy Bastard" Season
i AM going to try and find a work experience placement in radio this summer.
i AM going to keep writing stuff, rather than just try and get into the industry and then think "well i am here now, now what?"
i AM going to send off lots of pestering letters to producers, station managers etc.
etc.
