critique is most welcomeThanks for the retouch. The floor was originally a kind of patchy stone work, but i didn't like it, so i scrubbed it out. Good thing about oils is i can leave it for a bit and come back to it fresh! I really do struggle to get any real detail into it as my hand is just not steady enough. It is really a fun learning experience though, as i hadn't picked up a paint brush since i was a kid at school.
