For me it suits a certain style but she does not always sing that way. It's like Winehouse. I think she has a fantastic voice but can only write a good song when she's in destructive pain.
Also Richard Hawley. What a fantastic voice! But he sings some shite.

but I don't like any of her songs (maybe I ought to separate her songs from her as a person - but life's too short etc., not enough time for the massive amount of music that gets produced)
