
In other news, the local computer repair techs can't read emails properly. I asked if they could replace a faulty power chip in a laptop. I get this in reply :
'To replace faulty laptop charger you would looking at £55.00, if problem is with your laptop dc jack, which need to be replaced, that would cost you £79.00.'
Sort of answers the question, really, i.e. they have no idea.
