but did you see that documentary about dogs? There's some place in Germany where they are selectively breeding out 'wild' foxes in captivity, ie only breeding with those that are not aggressive to humans. They've ended up with tame foxes (tame from birth), but the weird thing is that their coats no longer look like foxes coats, they are starting to get the same patterns as domestic dogs. I guess that means that it is possible to find a relatively tame wild animal that has inherited its tameness through it's genes.
Anyway, despite the waffle and the video, I really would not adopt a fox. I am not an idiot. I may live in a town now, but I was brought up in the countryside, and I do know the difference between wild animals and pets!
