My corrollary to the previous statement would of course be:Strictly speaking, yeah that's what it means, except that no-one (muslim or non-muslim) has used the word 'Jihad' to simply mean 'struggle' in the past 50 years - whenever anyone uses it these days they mean 'bombing the fuck out of the infidels'.
