but I know a bad relationship/beautiful girl out of my league/other man supermulticombo turned me into a horrible, dribbling idiot. nowhere near hitting anyone but, i'd hate to hear some of the things i said at the time.

im not saying it should not be covered, but the sheer AMOUNT of coverage takes away from real issues that go unnoticed or under reported. i mean it's human nature to flock to gossip and be intrigued, it's just left me a little disillusioned, and perhaps I'm the one w/problems and not the media, I'm not discounting that. but we seem to get obsessed w/stories that, bottom line, MEAN NOTHING, that's all I'm saying. I'm not saying I don't do the same thing, it's more of an indictment of society and the direction we're heading. and i'm not above calling myself a hypocrite and perhaps jaded and cynical and even wrong, but i do think it's an argument worth having. the news has been hijacked by crap, that's my point, but i guess it be's what it be's and there's nothing i can do about it. ok, i'm done, sorry if i offended you, i mean that sincerely.

that's just a lazy excuse, in my opinion, and it's only my opinion. just bc something is the status quo doesn't mean it can't change, but change is hard and that's the crux of it all. we're all looking out for ourselves, myself included, and we forget about bigger issues or ignore them b/c it means changing. bc real issues do exist, but i guess they have to personally touch you before you come to that realization.
