pictures will sometimes refuse to upload properlydepending on where you host them. b3tards is usually ok, but can be a bit sketchy. if it's something you've knocked up in paint, you should have no trouble posting it directly onto the board

You can click"post new message" then "switch to image mode" to upload your image then cancel posting the new message. Everything you've uploaded can be found by clicking "My Images", including the embed codes for putting them in other messages.
Bit of a roundabout way of doing things, I know, but it works.
