They got some bloke called...
...Michael Ian Weinfeld to do it:
laughingsquid.com/pope-a-parody-of-the-popular-hope-obama-poster/
I feel for you - a month or so ago I was studying photos of George Osborne, not for some perverted onanistic frenzy* I hasten to add, but for a caricature sculpture I was planning. So, of course, for the purpose I was examining his face I was picking up on the smallest features or flaws to magnify, and it suddenly occurred to me that he has a bum-shaped nose (like Richard Nixon's) - there's a very pronounced cleft in the tip of Osborne's nose which makes the tip look exactly like an arse.
This prompted me to ponder all sorts of possibilities, but I thought I'd better check teh interwebs first, so I simply typed 'George Osborne, bum nose' into Google and guess what - yes, some fecker had beaten me to it months before! And that fecker was The Grauniad's Steve Bell, who even featured in a video on The Graun's website explaining that it wasn't even him who had noticed but his daughter...
Anyway, there you go, a potentially ace idea strangled at birth.
Still, love your poster, it's a great concept and you done well, son.
*Though come to think of it...
