I think you got the subject line back to front !The thing about all those bacteria on your chopping board (or bog seat)is that they sit there quite happily not killing you, so why not leave them there.
They also never bother to mention there are a Fucking Billion times more bacteria living in your gut than live on your bog seat - and if they weren't there, then you definitely would die !
