not to say Armadillos are not totally awesome and deserving of being the show piece of any modern metropolitan zoo, I mean Lets see an Elephant do this. But as I live in Texas, and Armadillos are kind of popular here in a way they are no where else in the world, was just wondering if the rest of the world had any interest in it.

well Pangolins are African / Asian, the Armadillo is unique to the Americas. It's like Camels and Llamas are both even-toes ungulates, but distinctly different animals
