# Reminds me of a John Lasseter story
about his 3D short, 'Tin Toy'. The toy's head was reflective and of course the reflection was mathematically correct in reflecting its environment, but it just looked wrong. He had his team make the reflection of the head 4 white squares, like a balloon in a comic. it worked and looked right even though it couldn't have been more wrong.
