favourite film?Mine is Laputa Castle In The Sky, great film. Probably followed by My Neighbour Totoro. Never been a massive fan of Spirited Away, but I like Howl's and Ponyo.

Howl's is a bit disjointed and Ponyo seems liks a mish-mash of older stuff.Spirited Away had the most Western-style arcing story line and solid ending, which probably contributed to its popularity.
But Laputa is great. Porco Rosso is brilliant for its multiple-levels; the ambiguous ending needs a repeat viewing though. Mononoke is an awesome mood piece too.
