When I was [in uni], I worked part time as an amstex typesetter for visiting mathemeticians at an international institute. I learned about ems and ens and ligatures, and still fancy when fi, ffi, or ffl is rendered properly. Keep an eye out. This international rendering thing is just blowing my effing mind. I'm happy.
