All the bashes I've been to have been fucking great, and I've made friends from them.
A very easy crowd to rub along with (at least in Brum and Derby, which are the ones I've attended).
Since you're no longer in Brum, I'd recommend strolling along to one near you.

I'm not sure if enough people would know who the hell I was if I did go to one of the b3ta bashes.

Just the fact of being on b3ta is quite a leveller. I was a bit nervous going to my first bash,
but turned up, immediately saw some prat wearing a stupid hat (who is now a good friend), and just melted into it.
Perhaps you won't be annoying.
