And this film was possibly a better visual thrill than 'Watchmen', which I love.
The sound FX were spot on, as always.
But, as with most of his films, his musical placements are often wildly off the mark - either coming in too strong at the wrong time, or just being a really shit choice for a song.
It worked for about a third of 'Sucker Punch', but the rest was grating and clunkily delivered.
The story didn't really engage me, and the dialogue was pure exposition.
Would I watch it again?
Without hesitation. Yet I'm tempted to do so whilst wearing my i-pod.
