I'm not a big Dr Who geek tbh I just remember that episode with Maureen Lipmanas it was repeated on telly pretty recently. I do agree the new daleks are just awful compared with the originals.

Some of my chums scare me a little with their encyclopaedic knowledge...That said, the Dalek that turned up in the Chris Ecclestone episode, as a prisoner (or whatever) was pretty bloody kick-ass. Right size, colour, etc etc. Apart from the 'Elevate' moment, good all round.
