I worked in a forensic lab for a while My boss was an expert witness in the Snowtown murders trial. He got one of the murderers off by saying that while there was a large pile of gloves in the bank vault that had his DNA on them, he'd never been seen going in or out of the vault so it was possible that he just collected gloves and the other guys stole them.
