# The Rapture is towards the end of a number of prophecied events some of which have not yet fully occured
such as Israel has to expand to its biblical boundaries (including the West Bank)....and the re-building of the Temple of Soloman on the site presently occupied by the Al-Aqsa Mosque

# Personally I think the Israelis have already rebuilt the Temple
They built it out of sight underneath the Mosque and told the outside world that they were simply carrying out an archaelogical excavation
