that's because there is no such thing as mass intelligenceand even if there were, it would make no difference because the outcomes of elections are influenced by a zillion competing factors unrelated to intelligence. But I will agree in principle that it has been a long while since I've seen any 'leaders' deserving of respect, and we get what we deserve.
