I heard a theory about road rage:
I like evolutionary psychology, even though it's mostly just making up stories, and someone asked in this area how do we explain road rage, when it makes things more dangerous in the short term.
Story: It makes things better in the long term if it keeps the tribe safer. Teaching 'don't cut people off in traffic', 'Don't make the files huge', 'Don't be rude and/or oversensitive', that sort of thing.
