in spain, many years agomy mum was waiting to cross a busy road. a small child of about 2 sliped out of his mother's grasp and ran into the road. he was hit by a motorbike, which didn't stop. the poor child's body was dragged for at least 500 yards before something gave way and dropped him to the ground. 2 weeks we were there, it never even made the local papers.
