But I'm gonna feel like a dick if it tastes just as good as the old recipe.

If all else fails, I'll revert to using Daddies brown sauce... if it still exists.

I'm 46, and I can remember having hasslet and HP sandwiches at my grans when I was 4,

Spam and HP picknicks on the beach (Yer we weren't ritch!) at the same age.
So my food memories for it go back 42 years, and now I have been robbed forever!
It doesn't taste as good BTW, it's now nasty ;-)

Not in the shops :-(

It anoys me because I love the stuff, the half a bottle a year I have of it anyway , so their reduction will save me 2 grams of salt a year when I'm allowed 6 grams a day, but they've wrecked the taste so now I won't be having it at all :-(
