and basically 99% of the publicity photos were taken on it.
It's not the console room, although that was pretty grandiose too and featured similar trappings.

interesting how the design of the new series was so much more influenced by this turkey of a film than the series itself - giant console room, steampunk console, kissing companions, even the circular Time Vortex from the titles all made a huge impact.

Good to see that they could see past how bad the film was to how good some of it's designs and design decisions were.
