Thanks for the information. I didn't know that about its origins - re: 'killer app', but I did suspect Apple (MacKintosh) might have something to do with it. I don't think it really matters nearly as much as I seem to have made it appear I think it does. If use of this terminology helps real people have actual conversations with each other then, great! I couldn't possibly accuse other people of being knobheads anyway, as I have to look in the mirror once in a while.
