Cheers. I've always liked the style.I think R&S creator John Kricfaluci and Shag are influenced by 50s cartoon artists like Bob Clampett, Gene Deitch or Mary Blair (from Disney). Like how Steely Dan are influenced by Dave Brubeck, R.I.P. It was Brubeck's recent death that gave me this idea.

i love the 50's cartoon style artespecially those ads with happy housewives wielding dusters, they always make me laugh. my siser's got one with the motto "a clean house is a sign of a wasted life"
