The A1200 and A600 were designedto take standard 44-pin IDE laptop hard disks. This flash module is designed as a drop-in replacement for exactly that kind of hard disk, so it's quite easy. Although I did have to file a little bit off the edge of the RF modulator for it to physically fit.
